Early this morning, Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias, commenting that the occupancy rate of beds in intensive care units in Attica has now reached 71%, proposed a short but total lockdown in Attica as the only solution.
“According to the ambulance on 6/2 we had 231 intubations, on 7/2, 245 and on 8/2, 260. That is, 15 a day more, 10 of them in Attica, which means that one ICU unit is occupied in one day, “said the Minister, adding that “We now have a total of 1,899 inpatients with Covid-19, while last week we had 1,594.
