Natural hair, should I dye it?

Naturally raw healthy hair. It’s time I want to give them color.

Natural hair by definition is hair that has not been chemically treated in any kind of dyeing,
whether it is permanent or semi-permanent dyeing.
Natural hair, although it may not have a dye treatment on it, looks strong and healthy
but they have a very fine texture and must be treated with care in order to keep them healthy.
This means frequent grooming and hydration and as little direct heat as possible to maintain optimal health.

Shall I paint them? How to choose a colour? What kind of paint should I use?

There are two types of dyes, permanent and semi-permanent.
Semi-permanent dye or chrome emulsion or else I would say for your first time that it is ideal for you because it is the lightest thing there is
and you can easily make the transition to something more permanent.
There are so many reliable companies that have a huge range of colours for you who have natural hair
and you don’t want to make the huge change.
Semi-permanent colors have a duration of six to eight weeks, based on a weekly shampoo and mask.
These colours will fade gently during the baths, without damaging the hair.

Permanent colours last until the hair grows longer and becomes natural again.
There is a wide range of color palette, but you definitely need an experienced color technician,
perform the appropriate prescription for each type of head.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DYE YOUR OWN HAIR.
If you have made the decision to dye your natural hair for the first time, you should definitely do
a consultation with your hairdresser.
Tell your hairdresser what you have in mind and what result you want to achieve.
I would advise you to do some research first, take the pictures you’ve seen and discuss it.
This is the right person who will give you instructions on how to take care of your scalp from now on.
Intensive treatments are now necessary as you need to maintain 100% hair health.

Keep in mind that it may take more than one appointment.

If you suddenly decide to go from dark brown to blonde, be prepared to visit the salon several times.
Some changes need more than one appointment to achieve the right result
and not damage the quality of your hair.
The quality of our hair plays a bigger role in our appearance than the colour.
It’s good to know that if you dye your hair a different shade from your natural colour,
you should know that your visit to the salon should be at least every month.

Even if it seems simple, consider that you’ll have to dedicate some time, where you’ll spend it exclusively on your hair.
every month and therefore an increase in your fixed costs for that as well.

New look. New you.

You did it.
You’ve made your change and it’s perfect.
But now you’re not done here.
Your shopping list should include shampoo and mask that your colourist will recommend,
so that you can keep your color bright and vibrant.

I hope you found the article useful…

Yours sincerely,
Elizabeth Makri.
