My eyes, oh my eyes… how can I rest you?

In our eyes our soul is reflected… do we want to have an aged soul?
No we want to have not only healthy eyes, but also a beautiful look…. because now between you and me, with the mask we wear all day, only our eyes are visible, if only they look beautiful and not tired!!!!

1) First of all, make sure you have proper lighting and when working on the computer, limit the light from the outside environment by closing blinds or curtains and keep the lighting inside your room at a medium to low level. Most importantly, don’t have your computer monitor in front, behind, or on the side of a window. Your screen will glow and you’ll be dizzy within minutes. In terms of computer brightness, find the right contrast between characters, background, and definitely the right font size. (If you can’t see at 10, enlarge it to 16, so you can see comfortably!!!!)

2) Organize your space to be above all comfortable.
Good posture helps reduce eye pressure and other issues (back, neck). Place your monitor about 50-60 cm away from your eyes and adjust your desk or chair so that your body is properly aligned.

3) Take frequent breaks: whenever you do a task that requires a lot of concentration, take a break every 20 minutes. Look at a distant object, about 6.7 metres away, for at least 20 seconds. This relaxes the muscle inside the eye and helps it to relax.
Breaks are not only good for the eyes, but also for the back, back and neck. So every now and then make sure you get up, move around and do neck and neck exercises.

4)Rest your eyes, rub your hands together until they become warm and soft. Then place your palms over your closed eyes. Keep them there for a few seconds. Also, a good option to relieve pressure is to wet a towel with cold water, wring it out and apply it over your eyes for five minutes. You will also feel relaxed by opening them. The reason for this is that it moisturizes the eye and prevents dryness and irritation.

5) Wear glasses, summer and winter, sun glasses are good for you, so don’t forget them. In addition to sunglasses, buy special glasses for the computer. These glasses help to rest the eye, as they have a light tint and coatings that protect the eye from radiation, acting as a filter. They also correct even very small refractive errors (e.g. astigmatism). Consult your ophthalmologist to see if this solution is right for you and try it.

6)Once a year do an eye examination.
During the examination, don’t forget to tell your doctor how often you use the computer at work and at home and how often you spend time in front of a phone or computer.
