Grey hair color – ELIXIR by A.S.P.

Grey is a hair color that often steals the show.
To begin with, for several years it has not left the preferences of more and more women
who decide to make the most of their natural white hair.

But how easy is it for a professional to create a successful Grey colour?
In fact it has never been easy to create Grey, but A.S.P with the ELIXIR GOTHIC range has made it a little easier.
In case we are not talking about a toner on 100% natural white hair then the successful Grey colour has one basic requirement. Discoloration.
In fact, the complete, but also very clear discoloration without yellow tones.

Tip for successful Grey

Dye the hair to a perfectly pure blonde (no yellow tones).
Use ASP System Blonde Ammonia-Free Powder Lightener, Ultra-Lifting Powder Lightener,
High-Performance Powder Lightener or Charcoal Powder Lightener with3%or 6% ASP Crème Developer.
Always use a lower dynamic developer when opening as this way you will achieve
cleaner opening than using a higher dynamic developer.

If there is difficulty in achieving a pure blonde you can combine the following:

You can then apply the Gothic Greys Shade (4.117 to 10.117) of your choice together with
3% ASP® Crème Developer and maintain the recommended residence time.

The ELIXIR® Gothic Greys includes 4 silver/ Grey permanent shades for pigment deposition only.
The innovative GPS-TECnology™ formula with shea butter and Argan oil offers uniform results
with amazing shine and healthier hair.

Grey shades are ideal for use on natural white hair and discolored or very light blonde hair.
It can be mixed with ELIXIR® Naturals (.0) for cooler, but also natural shades.

IMPORTANT : Grey shades are not recommended for use on yellow bases.

ELIXIR® Gothic Greys should be used with ASP® Crème Developer 3% (10vol) or ASP® Converter
can also be used for a milder effect (1:2 mixing ratio).

Note : Gothic Greys go on the cool side of the colour palette (e.g. blue, green, violet)
before arriving at their final result of silver/ grey.

The addition of Expert Series Hair and Scalp Protector in Gothic Greys Shades will balance the porosity of the hair,
will strengthen them and provide longer lasting results.
Gothic Greys can be equally well mixed with Converter to achieve a slightly softer effect.
