What will you be when you grow up?

What will you be when you grow up?

A question we have heard from our pre-teen years to our post-school years.
The professional rehabilitation of children is of interest to all parents, but at the same time, it creates an inner stress for both the child and the parent.
I have as a memory from childhood, being asked frequently by everyone what I’m going to be when I grow up…

What you will be when you grow up

I was saying hairdresser…

A hairdresser?! This profession is very tiring and difficult will spoil your legs, back and arms!
You’re the one taking the letters, maybe you should look into doing something else?!
And what do you need English and Spanish for?!

And what have I become now that I’ve grown up?

But of course a hairdresser…
So that’s what makes me happy and it’s the profession I followed.
In conclusion, I prefer the path of happiness rather than coercion, whatever the consequences!
However, my English and Spanish were very useful in later post-graduate studies abroad…

After all, I spend 80% of my day at work! Can you imagine being somewhere that is not pleasant for me?

So which profession should you choose?

People who love their work are not only more productive, more likely to be rewarded and develop, but are also happier and healthier in their personal lives.
“Who doesn’t want to work in an environment that fills them with joy?”

So what will you be when you grow up?

Child and career guidance.

As far as our children are concerned, the future of our country, there are now vocational guidance centres. There, children based on their abilities and talents can make the right career decision.
Their aim is to inform young people about the specialisations that are easier or more difficult to find jobs in Europe and Greece.

In conclusion….

Perhaps, after all, it is better to talk to children about moral values,
about human relationships and about kindness.

The profession they will follow is just a means to be able to live better.

Work is not our life.

It’s just a part of life, and that’s how we have to deal with it.
